Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment

The DO Difference

Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) is a hands-on system of diagnosis and treatment, designed to address a variety of conditions and symptoms by aligning the body’s structural tissues and facilitating mobility. The circulation of blood, lymphatic fluids, CSF and the nervous system are in turn improved thus enhancing the body’s potential to heal itself. Through improving body structure, function is also improved.

OMT provides a medication free, non-invasive treatment option, used alone, with acupuncture or as part of other treatment plans to address a wide variety of common ailments.

Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment can be very effective in treating most acute and chronic musculoskeletal problems, including back and neck pain, muscle strain and arthritis.  It can also help provide relief for other conditions such as sinus disorders, headaches, asthma and carpal tunnel syndrome.
